Sleep Tip: Don't Give Up After 1 Night!
Let's say you want to make some changes to your child's sleep. For example, you decide to put your baby to bed 30 minutes later in hopes that she'll sleep later in the morning. The next morning, she's up even earlier! So what do most parents do? Go back to what they did before since the change didn't work. Makes sense, right?
The catch is, your baby may need 3 nights to a week for her body to adjust and for the change to work. She may indeed need to go to bed a little bit later to sleep later in the morning. You've just got to give her time. So my recommendation is: don't give up after just 1 night of making changes to your baby's sleep! Try any changes for at least 3 nights before you decide it's not going to work.
